The Member of Parliament for Amenfi West, Hon Eric Afful, has released Ghc500,000 from his Common Fund for the completion of the Tigarekrom CHPS compound in Samreboi and the provision of educational infrastructure in the constituency.
An amount of Ghc250,000 would be spent towards the completion of the Tigarekrom CHPS compound whilst the remaining amount will be utilized for the provision of educational infrastructure in some needy communities within the Amenfi West Constituency.

The move is part of Eric Afful’s avowed stance on the provision of quality health and improved education.
Hon Eric Afful has so far established 52 CHPS compounds , making his constituency the leader of such health facilities in the country.
Hon Eric Afful is also paying for the counterpart funding for the provision of solar panelled electricity to aid health provision at Aworabo, Mrakrom and Mofra Mfa Adwene.
The facility being built in partnership with Dream Renewables, a health based NGO, will come with solar powered fridges for the storage of Medicines.
The two term MP for Amenfi West is now the Chair of the Economy and Development Committee of Parliament He is also a member of the Public Administration and State Interests, Board Member of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund ( GIIF).
Eric Afful also doubles as a member of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources (MLNR) ministerial advisory board and an ECOWAS Parliamentarian.
He is the ECOWAS Parliament’s Committee chair on mining in Member countries.
