The High Court in Accra has granted bail in the sum of GHc30 million to Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, who was arrested in relation to alleged US Romance scam.
He is currently a subject matter of an extradition hearing to the US following his alleged romance fraud.
In addition to the bail sum, he is to produce two sureties both of whom are to be justified.
Justice Halimah El-Alawah Abdul-Baasit, has also ordered him to surrender all his traveling documents not limited to his passport to the registry of the Court.
He is also to report to the police Criminal Investigation Department every other day until the final determination of an application Habeas Corpus currently pending before the Court.
On Tuesday, his lawyers moved the bail application on his behalf and even though same was opposed by the prosecution, the Court admitted him to bail.
