A campaign team believed to be backing the national chairmanship bid of Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has unveiled a 35-member operational structure ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s internal elections.
The document, titled “Chairman Wontumi Outdoors Campaign Team for NPP National Chairmanship Bid,” outlines key appointments across political affairs, communications, welfare, electoral affairs, security and grassroots mobilisation.
Leading the campaign structure is Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, who has been named Campaign Chairman, while George Oduro will serve as Campaign Manager.
The team also appointed Archibald Cobbinah to oversee Field Operations and Delegates Mobilisation, with Andy Owusu handling Campaign Operations involving finance, logistics and programmes.
Under Political Affairs, the campaign named Moses Anim, Sarah Adwoa Safo and Stephen Amoah as key operatives.
Media and communications responsibilities were assigned to Ewuradjoa Coleman, while the spokespersons team includes David Boakye, Akua Afriyie, Pope YaoYevoo and Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah.
The campaign also named Hon. Justina Marigold Assan, Kofi Ofosu Boateng and Mohammed Issah as aides, with Dennis Okyere Danso serving as administrator.
A professional advisory group made up of Dr. Dennis Addo and Lawyer Kwame Adom-Appiah was also announced.
For external affairs, the team selected Dr. Kwasi A. Acheampong and Henry Quashie.
The campaign structure further designated Ernest Frimpong (Costaro) as National TESCON Coordinator, supported by Kwabena Owusu Junior for the Middle Belt, Robert Akayim Awasina for the Northern Belt and Gifty Afriyie Afrifa for the Coastal Belt.
In the area of women’s mobilisation, Nana Ama Ampomaa and Felicia Tettey were named to lead outreach efforts, while Marilyn Yeboah, Bright Nyampong and Janet Bibii Bashir were tasked with welfare responsibilities.
Electoral affairs will be supervised by George Mireku Duker, Michael Kofi Boahen and John N. Asare Bediako.
The campaign’s Special Operations and Security unit comprises Nana Fianko, Nana Poku Frefre and Kwame Owusu.
The release of the campaign structure is expected to intensify political activity within the governing New Patriotic Party as prospective candidates position themselves ahead of the party’s internal contests.
