The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin, has reiterated his commitment to leading a formidable team to recover “state-looted assets” allegedly misappropriated by some members of the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM, Yammin assured host Kojo Marfo that his team would stop at nothing to retrieve stolen government assets, including funds and resources such as fertilizers.
“At times, we will invade people’s privacy—that, I can assure you. Any member of the government who has stolen state money or items can never claim privacy,” he declared.
When asked court orders would be sought before such actions, Yammin stated, “We are saving the country. Therefore, every stolen asset will be recovered.”
He also cautioned members of his own party against unlawfully seizing private property or vehicles, emphasizing that all recovery efforts must follow due process.
“After January 7, 2025, things will naturally fall into their appropriate places,” Yammin added, hinting at a strong commitment to restoring order under a potential NDC-led administration.
