The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region under the leadership newly elected Chairman Odehene Kwaku Appiah popularly known as COKA has secured a temporary regional office at Danyame in the Kumasi Ridge area as part of efforts to strengthen its operations in the region.
Chairman COKA, said the party is expected to move into the facility by next Monday and commence official activities from the new location.
He disclosed this during a breakfast meeting with the party’s regional founding fathers, Council of Elders and newly elected regional executives.
According to COKA, securing a functional office is an important step towards creating an effective administrative structure for the party and improving coordination among its executives and members.
He further disclosed that the party was also making preparations to construct a permanent regional office to serve as its long-term headquarters in the Ashanti Region.
The announcement forms part of efforts by the new regional leadership to establish its administrative structures and position the party for effective operations following the election of the new executives.
