The Kasoa District Police Command has commenced investigations into a fire outbreak that claimed the life of renowned herbal doctor, Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa.
The incident occurred at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday at the deceased’s residence in Kasoa.
According to the Police, Dr. Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, was trapped in the fire and died from his injuries.
Three other occupants of the house managed to escape but sustained injuries during the incident.
The Police have arrested three suspects who are currently assisting with investigations as authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The body of Dr. Antwi has been deposited at the Saint Gregory Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The Police say investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire and establish the circumstances leading to the doctor’s death.
