Four-day exercise brings together party organisers from all 47 constituencies to strengthen grassroots mobilisation
The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Kwakwa, has commenced a four-day reactivation exercise aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structures across the region.
Dubbed the “Organisers’ Forum,” the exercise brings together party organisers from all 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region as part of efforts to formally resume duty and re-energise the party’s grassroots mobilisation structures.
For the exercise, the 47 constituencies have been grouped into 10 zones. Participants include Constituency Organisers and their deputies, Women Organisers and their deputies, Youth Organisers and their deputies, Nasara Organisers and their deputies, as well as Persons With Disability Coordinators.
Speaking during the exercise, Mr Kwakwa emphasised the need for party organisers to maintain regular contact with communities and strengthen engagement with the grassroots.
He encouraged organisers to undertake activities such as fitness sessions and health walks as part of efforts to remain active and connected to constituents.
He also urged them to undertake regular visits to communities and maintain consistent engagement with party members at the grassroots level.
The forum forms part of broader efforts by the Ashanti Regional NPP to reactivate its organisational structures and sustain grassroots mobilisation across the region.
