Prepare for 30% defeat in 2028 if you keep ignoring reality- Dr. Computer mock Bawumia

Dr. Rashid Tanko-Computer, Deputy Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has dismissed as “laughable” the assertion by the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, that 2.1 million NPP supporters failed to vote in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking on JoyNews’ The Pulse monitored by Kumasi Mail, Dr. Tanko-Computer stated that the NPP leadership remains confused about the reasons behind their electoral defeat.

“Up to now, they don’t know why they lost the election and I’m happy they are still fumbling, trying to figure it out—even after their report by Professor Michael Oquaye, they still don’t understand why they lost,” he said.

Dr. Tanko-Computer challenged the credibility of Bawumia’s claim, questioning whether key NPP figures including Dr. Bawumia himself, regional chairpersons, secretaries, and organizers had failed to vote.

“Which people are they talking about? Are they expecting ghosts somewhere to vote for them? Because what I know is that all NPP apparatchiks came and voted, so who exactly are they referring to?” he asked.

He further mocked the NPP’s post-election analysis, suggesting their continued confusion would only benefit the NDC in future elections.

“I’m happy they would not know because we are preparing 30% for them come 2028, and thank God they are cruising towards that direction. Let them continue behaving like ostriches, they don’t know, and thank God the gods are working; they will never know why they’ve lost,” Dr. Tanko-Computer remarked
