The Ashanti regional Chairman of the new patriotic party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako also known as ‘Chairman Wontumi’ has said the NPP will win elections 2024 hands down.
He describes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 35% target in the Ashanti region as ‘expensive joke’.
“I’m not suprise at their 35% target in Ashanti region. Look in 2016 they targeted 1million votes in the region what was the outcome. They are just talking the job is on the grounds and we shall see”.
He said the NPP will win the elections 2024 with Ashanti contributing at least with 85%.
“with the work the NPP has done in Ashanti region by Nana Akufo Addo, Bawumia government, the job is done. Ashanti will vote massively for the party because they have seen work we have done and still doing”.
He urged the NPP supporters in the region to remain focus and highlight the achievements of the government.
