Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Communications Minister Mohammed Adams Sukparu were involved in a road accident early on the Bolga–Tumu highway in the Upper East Region.
The two ministers were travelling on official duties when their vehicle was involved in the crash, according to sources.
They sustained minor injuries and are said to be in a stable condition.
Authorities have begun investigations into the cause of the accident, while medical officials continue to monitor their recovery.
No other casualties have been reported.
