The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Michael Drew, will undertake an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, March 3, to Saturday, March 7, 2026, according to a statement from the Presidency Communications.
During his visit, Prime Minister Drew is scheduled to attend Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebration on Friday, March 6.
The official programme will commence on Wednesday with a meeting between Prime Minister Drew and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana. He will later be hosted at the Presidency for bilateral discussions and an official luncheon.
As part of his itinerary, Dr. Drew will visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Cape Coast Castle. He is also expected to pay a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II.
The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations between Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis, particularly within the framework of South-South cooperation. Both countries have been enhancing collaboration in areas including education, health, trade, investment, and technology.
