The Chief of the Nzemaa Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, is today expected to donate 10 tipper trucks and two mini VIP buses to communities under his traditional authority in a major effort to boost community development.
Each of the 10 communities will receive one tipper truck valued at approximately $150,000, while the two mini VIP buses will serve the wider Nzemaa Traditional Area.
The presentation ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Chief’s Palace and is expected to attract traditional leaders, community members and invited guests.
According to sources within the traditional area, the initiative is aimed at helping beneficiary communities generate revenue through the commercial use of the trucks to support developmental projects and improve local livelihoods.
The donation forms part of ongoing efforts by the traditional leadership to promote self-reliance and accelerate socio-economic development across the area.
