Mr. Ransford Antwi has not stepped Down – Campaign Team

The Campaign Team of Mr. Ransford Antwi, Independent Parliamentary candidate for Sunyani East has rubbished reports suggesting that their candidate has been spoken to by President Akufo-Addo, to step down.

According to Mr. Atta Akoto Snr, Spokesperson for the Campaign Team, Mr. Ransford Antwi is fully focused and determined to work very hard to win the mandate of his people to represent their interests in parliament, and nothing is going to change that.

Mr. Akoto questioned why people who ridiculed the initial decision of Mr. Antwi to contest, claiming he was going to be no match, now resorting to cheap propaganda? ” Everyone knows that my Boss is a very serious man, who means whatever he says” He cares about his people and will not do anything that will harm his reputation.

He therefore, called on all supporters to stay focused and disregard any cheap propaganda coming from the incumbent MP, who is desperate to hold on to power.

The emergence of Ransford Antwi to contest in the Sunyani East parliamentary elections has sparked great enthusiasm amongst voters within the constituency as the people perceive him to be more concerned about the constituency than the incumbent MP, who is seeking his fifth term making a total of twenty years in Parliament.
Mr Akoto emphasized that sixteen years of the MP if it was impactful towards alleviating the plights of the constituency would not have resulted in this desperate lies-laced attempt to throw dust in the eyes of the electorate.

“It is unfathomable that after sixteen years in Parliament the incumbent MP has nothing meaningful to point at to make a strong case for retention other than lies”. He stated.

“This desperate lies from the camp of the incumbent MP shows that they are fully aware of losing the seat to deserving Ransford Antwi”
