Former Nandom Member of Parliament Ambrose Dery has announced his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the constituency ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Mr. Dery made the declaration in an interview on Nandom FM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, ending months of speculation over whether he would return to frontline politics after losing the Nandom seat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections.
