Agyenim Boateng: Kennedy Agyapong and Alan, not Akufo-Addo, caused NPP’s election loss

Apostle Agyenim Boateng of the Charismatic Face of God Church has shared a divine revelation concerning the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking during his “Angelic Hour” program on Angel 102.9 FM, the clergyman said his God revealed that the NPP’s defeat was due to negative remarks made about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, not the former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Apostle Boateng explained that the NPP’s troubles began during their presidential primaries.

He urged party members and political commentators not to blame Nana Addo for the electoral loss.

Instead, he pointed to the words and actions of Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyeremateng as the main reasons the party lost the election

“I am an apostle of the Gospel of Christ. I have listened to political commentators blaming Nana Addo for the defeat. But I was not part of the election, so I am free to share what the Lord has shown me,” he said.

He continued, “Two things are about to happen in this country. In the physical realm, the NPP lost this election not because of the President of Ghana, but because of what happened during their presidential candidate selection. That is when the party started to lose.”

Apostle Boateng criticized political commentators for not reflecting on these issues. He said the day Kennedy Agyapong, Alan Kyeremateng, and others stepped forward to lead the party was the day the NPP’s downfall began.

“The NPP did not lose because of Dr. Bawumia’s or Nana Addo’s mistakes. The party lost because of what Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyeremateng said against Dr. Bawumia. The NDC used these negative statements in their campaign. So why blame the President?” he asked.

He added, “Look at what Kennedy Agyapong said about Dr. Bawumia. How could you expect to win with such damaging comments? Today, I see people going to Dr. Bawumia’s home, but those I have mentioned have not visited him. It is clear they did not want him to become President.”

Apostle Agyenim Boateng revealed why Dr. Bawumia received 41% of the electoral votes, according to what his God told him.

He remarked “Dr. Bawumia is even at the heart of God. That is why he got 41%. With what was said about him within the party, he should not have gotten even 26%. But he is a good man, and that is why God gave him that much.”

“Why is the NPP blaming Nana Addo when there were people who destroyed the party with their words?”, he quizzes.
