The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has disclosed that the Price waterhouse Coopers (PwC) audit report on the controversial National Cathedral project was presented to him last Friday.
According to him, the report reveals staggering amounts of money spent on the project, funds which he said could have been channeled into completing some of the Agenda 111 hospitals.
Speaking at the district launch of the Free Primary Health Care programme in the Bolgatanga East Constituency, Dr Ayine did not mince words about the handling of the project.
“PwC Report on National Cathedral was presented to me last Friday. The monies spent on the National Cathedral from that report could have been used to complete some Agenda 111 hospitals. You don’t build a house of God in the manner in which they went about it,” the Attorney-General stated.
