Deputy Minister of Defence, Brogya Genfi, has praised the contributions of National Service Personnel attached to the Ministry of Defence, describing them as a vital part of the institution’s work and Ghana’s development.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the Deputy Minister said he was honored to meet with the personnel at the Ministry’s Square, where they had completed their mandatory national service.
He commended their dedication, discipline, and sense of patriotism, noting that their work had added significant value to the ministry and the nation as a whole.
“I encouraged them to carry along the values of integrity, professionalism, and service to the nation – values which define the Ministry of Defence Ghana.
May these values continue to guide them in their future endeavors and serve as inspiration to make a positive impact in our great nation,” Mr. Genfi wrote.
The personnel, in turn, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Deputy Minister in recognition of his support and encouragement during their service period.
National service is a one-year mandatory program for graduates in Ghana, designed to instill discipline, foster patriotism, and provide practical work experience for young citizens.
