Spiritual leader Prophet Nagil Gazi has asserted that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is spiritually positioned to form the next government after President John Dramani Mahama.
He made the remarks during an interview on Starr Chat with broadcaster Nathaniel Adisi Anokye popularly Known as Bola Ray.
According to Prophet Gazi, his spiritual works have been directed against what he described as the “spirit” of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including its colours and flag.
He claimed that the NPP must undertake extensive consultation if it hopes to regain favour.
“I did a lot of work spiritually against the NPP, their colours and their flag. I did that with other men of God,” he said, adding that “the last NPP hurt the spirit.”
He further suggested that physical outcomes reflect what is permitted in the spiritual realm.
Prophet Gazi, however, did not provide verifiable evidence to support his claims, which he framed as spiritual revelations rather than political analysis.
The comments come at a time when political discourse in the country continues to intensify ahead of the next general elections.
