General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Koduah has described the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti votes target of 35% in 7th December presidential and Parliamentary elections as ‘a wish but not reality’ to achieve.
He said’ with able Chairman Wontumi in charge of Ashanti region the NDC’s target is a wish but not a reality. In life it is good to have a wish but how to achieve it is what matters most knowing very well that it is not realistic”.
Speaking to the media after donating one hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GHC. 100, 000,000) to support the party’s Woman wings campaign activities at the launching of the regional campaign team and programs, Koduah said, the NPP is still in better positions to win the 2024 general elections.
” we have worked across the country our works are visible. All we have to do is to show prove of our work to Ghanaians through our campaign activities. When we do that we will be able to convince Ghanaians to vote for us to break the 8 on 7th December” he charge the womens wing.
He added “National recognize the role the Women wing plays in the party therefore, I’m here to donate (GHC. 100, 000,000) as seed money to support your programs” .
The ccampaign launch was graced by minister of Parliamentary Affairs and MP for Suame Constituency Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Chief of staff Fremah Akosua Opare Addo, Chairman Wontumi, National Womens Organizer Kate Jamfuah among others.
