The Chairman of the Manifesto Committee for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, says the manifesto by governing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a response to the issues of Ghanaians.
Addressing the gathering at the manifesto launch, the lawmaker also added that the manifesto is a combination of the vision of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and what Ghanaians are yearning for.
“When he met the people, they raised several issues as I said. We have sieved them and brought all of them. So, this manifesto now is a bold attempt to respond to the issues that were raised. We were with him wherever he went, wherever he engaged the people and took out issues that came up. He has used it to fertilize his own vision. Because that man admits that notwithstanding what he has achieved in life, he is not the repository of knowledge, wisdom, and experience.
“So, we have a mixed grill of his own focus and we have fertilized that idea with what we had from the people that we engaged to come out with this comprehensive vision,” the Manifesto Chairman stated.
