Two people have been confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed in Tema on Monday, March 16, 2026 statement by the Ghana National Fire Service has confirmed.
The aircraft reportedly went down at Oninku Drive School Park in Tema Community One, close to the city’s central business district.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have been deployed to the scene and are working to retrieve bodies from the wreckage.
The circumstances leading to the crash are not yet clear, and authorities are expected to begin investigations to determine the cause of the incident.
