Ghana have announced a 28-man squad for the Black Stars’ World Cup preparation camp scheduled to take place from 25 May to 2 June 2026.
The squad, released by the Ghana Football Association, features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents as the team intensifies preparations ahead of the next phase of the World Cup qualifiers.
Captain Jordan Ayew leads the squad alongside senior players including Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Goalkeepers named in the squad are Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Anang.
Defenders selected include Alexander Djiku, Alidu Seidu, Jerome Opoku and Jonas Adjetey.
Midfield options feature Elisha Owusu, Abdul Samed Salis, Kwasi Sibo and Caleb Yirenkyi.
The attacking department includes Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Christopher Bonsu Baah and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The camp is expected to give the technical team an opportunity to assess player fitness and build cohesion ahead of Ghana’s upcoming international assignments.
Several locally based players, including Solomon Agbasi of Accra Hearts of Oak, also earned call-ups as the coaching staff seek to strengthen competition within the squad.
