The Constituency Chairmen Caucus of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has elected a new team of executives to lead its affairs following the conclusion of the party’s constituency executive elections across the region.
Kofi Acheampong, the Constituency Chairman for Manso Adubia, was elected Dean of the caucus and will lead the body. He will be assisted by Alex Kwabena Sarfo Kantanka, the Constituency Chairman for Juaben, who was elected Vice Dean.
Frederick Agyemang Mensah of Kwabre East was elected Secretary, while Abdul Salam Issah of Atwima Nwabiagya North will serve as the caucus’ Spokesperson.
Kwame Owusu of Adansi Asokwa was elected Organizer, with Benjamin Fosu Nkrumah of Asokwa taking up the position of Treasurer.
Thomas Hayford Ofosuhene of Afigya Kwabre North was elected Welfare Officer, while Kwaku Frimpong Patrick of Bosome Freho will serve as Chief Whip.
Dominic Bosompem, Constituency Chairman for Odotobri, was named Senior Advisor to the caucus. He will be supported by a two-member advisory team comprising Edward Asadu and Rev. Amoasi Takyi of Afigya Kwabre South.
The newly elected leadership is expected to coordinate the activities of constituency chairmen across the Ashanti Region, strengthen collaboration among the party’s grassroots leadership and support the implementation of the NPP’s organisational agenda as preparations begin for the 2028 general elections.
The Constituency Chairmen Caucus serves as an important platform for constituency chairmen in the region to deliberate on issues affecting the party at the grassroots, promote unity within the party and provide a coordinated voice on matters relating to the NPP’s electoral strategy and organisational development.
