The Ashanti regional Chairman of the Natuonal Democratic congress (NDC) has said the party will win the 2024 elections from the Ashanti region.
Addressing a mini rally at Asokwa constituency after the party health walk on 30th August 2024, Augustus Andrews Nana Kwasi urge electorates in Ashanti not buy into NPP’s campaign freebies promises.
He said ” If President Nana Akufo Akufo including Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia can deceive God with National Cathedral promose how much you Asokwa constituent” he asked.
“He promise one district one factory, one constituency one million dollars have they fulfilled them. This is deceiving nature of the people we are dealing” he told Asokwa electorates.
He encouraged the electorates in the constituncy to change hands in the upcoming elections by voting against the incumbent member of Parliament for the Asokwa constituency Patricia Appiagyei whom he accused of underperforming in the constitiency.
Amoh Kamel the NDC parliamentry candidate beg the electorate to elect him as the constituency’s Member of Parliament (MP) in December 7th elections.
He accused the incumbent member MP Patricia Appiagyei of not representing the industrial interest of the constituency known for industral activities.
Speaking to party’s supporters he encouraged them to remain committed to the parties Door to Door campaign to ensure the victory of the NDC and John Dramani in election 2024.
The regional chairman used occasion to launch the party’s constituency campaign and also unveiled the party constituency campaign team.
The event was graced by member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mohammed, former Mayor of Kumasi Kojo Bonsu
