Former President John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, is set to tour eight constituencies in the Greater Accra Region as part of his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign.
The two-day tour will take place on Sunday, September 15, and Monday, September 16, 2024.
A statement released by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the campaign spokesperson, outlined the schedule for the tour.
On the first day, Mahama will visit four constituencies, including Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Weija Gbawe, Okaikoi Central, and Okaikoi North.
Day two of the tour will see the former president engaging with residents and party supporters in the Shai Osudoku, Kpone Katamanso, Madina, and Dome Kwabenya constituencies.
The tour forms part of Mahama’s broader strategy to galvanize support ahead of the 2024 general elections, where he aims to reclaim the presidency.
Mahama is expected to address key issues affecting the region and share his vision for the future of Ghana under an NDC administration.
The #Mahama4Change2024 campaign has been focusing on mobilizing grassroots support, with the Greater Accra Region considered a critical battleground for the upcoming election.
