Despite losing the parliamentary primaries, Maxwell Ofosu-Boakye, the Suame Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has demonstrated a strong commitment to securing victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Suame Constituency for the upcoming December 7 elections.
Hon. Ofosu-Boakye has pledged to do everything in his power to ensure that the NPP retains the parliamentary seat in Suame.
His efforts highlight the unity among party executives and supporters in the constituency, despite his earlier loss in the primaries.
As part of his support, Hon. Ofosu-Boakye donated 2,000 branded t-shirts featuring the images of the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the parliamentary candidate for Suame, Lawyer John Darko. This initiative underscores his dedication to the party’s cause, even though he is not the parliamentary candidate.
The 2,000 t-shirts were received by the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Abban Duker, who expressed joy and gratitude on behalf of the party.
He also encouraged others who have benefitted from the party, either directly or indirectly, to follow Ofosu-Boakye’s example and contribute to the party’s efforts.
Mr. Abban Duker reaffirmed his determination to increase support for both Dr. Bawumia and Lawyer John Darko in the December elections. This, he believes, will strengthen the NPP’s stronghold in the Suame Constituency.
Party supporters see these efforts as a significant boost to the NPP’s campaign and a testament to the party’s unity and determination to secure a resounding victory in Suame.
