The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended Christmas and New Year greetings to Ghanaians at home and abroad, while reaffirming its commitment to delivering on its mandate to govern and improve living conditions across the country.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Secretariat on December 24, 2025, the NDC called on Ghanaians to reflect on the values of compassion, sacrifice, peace and gratitude associated with the Christmas season, as Christians commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
The party noted that the festive period also marks one year since Ghanaians entrusted it with the responsibility to govern, acknowledging the weight of that mandate and pledging continued dedication to translating its vision into tangible benefits for citizens.
According to the statement, the NDC government over the past year has taken deliberate steps to restore public confidence in governance, stabilise the economy and lay a foundation for sustainable growth, while prioritising social protection and accountability.
“As the nation looks to the new year, the NDC reaffirms its unwavering commitment to delivering fully on its mandate,” the statement said, outlining key priorities including economic recovery, job creation for the youth, strengthening public institutions and improving living standards.
The party further assured Ghanaians of its commitment to responsive, disciplined and results-oriented governance in the year ahead.
The statement, signed by the NDC’s General Secretary, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, concluded with wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year for all Ghanaians.
