The Paramount Chief of the Atebubu Traditional Area, Ohempong Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, has paid a courtesy visit to the Prang Traditional Council to strengthen peace, unity and socio-economic development in the Bono East Region.
The visit, held at Prang, was aimed at fostering what Ohempong Dr. Asiamah described as a “unified and formidable force” between the two traditional areas to engage government and development partners on key issues affecting the region.

Addressing members of both traditional councils, Ohempong Dr. Asiamah underscored the importance of collaboration in tackling socio-economic and security challenges. He urged the people of Atebubu and Prang to prioritise sustainable development while preserving their cultural heritage.
He also called on local government authorities and other stakeholders to intensify efforts to accelerate development projects in the area.

The Paramount Chief of Prang, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko, welcomed the delegation and emphasised the need for peace and unity, particularly in resolving the 42 chieftaincy cases and land disputes reported within the region.
He stressed that closer collaboration between traditional authorities would help address longstanding disputes and create a stable environment for growth and investment.

According to Nana Nyarko, the meeting reflects a broader effort by traditional leaders in the region to strengthen cooperation in order to promote development and maintain stability amid ongoing regional challenges.
He expressed appreciation to the Atebubu Traditional Council for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to working together to advance the welfare of their respective communities.
The Prang Traditional Council formally welcomed the Atebubu delegation, describing the engagement as timely and significant for the future development of the Bono East Region.
