As part of intervention to support children’s health and welfare , the New Apostolic Church Techiman Apostle Area visited the children’s ward at the Wenchi Methodist hospital and donated assorted items to children seeking medical care at the facility.
The visit which took place on Saturday, April 19,2025 was part of the activities to climax the celebration of 2025 Easter.
Head Pastor of Techiman Apostle Area of the New Apostolic Church, Apostle Paul Yaw Kyeremeh said the rationale behind the visit and donation was to show the children how to demonstrate God’s love to others.
The items comprised of milo, biscuits, packs soft drinks, packs of bottle water, eggs, bread, packs of toilet roll, pieces of soap, packs of baby diapers, packs of powdered detergent (Omo) and many more.

The church also donated a cash of GH¢ 2000.00 to patients at the ward to support for their medical needs.
The items were received on behalf of the patients by the Chaplain of the Hospital, Reverend Kofi Sam.
Ms. Diana Kyeremaa expressed profound gratitude to the Church for the kind gesture and pledged that the items will be put for it intended purpose.
Mad. Serfour Rose a parent who child was among patients receiving medical treatment at the ward on behalf of other parents thanked leadership and members of the New Apostolic Church Techiman Apostle Area for the kind and timely gesture.
The team then spent time with the sick children and prayed for them.
