A violent incident occurred in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region, where unknown gunmen, believed to be from the Mamprusi community, attacked a Kusaasi house, resulting in the deaths of five people.
The attack took place during curfew hours, sparking outrage and accusations against the security forces and the Interior Minister.
The women in the area expressed deep frustration, claiming that the curfew imposed on them has failed to prevent attacks by the Mamprusi community.

They impose curfew on us, but they can’t stop the Mamprusis from killing our relatives, said one woman. “It’s like they’re protecting the attackers, not us.”
The incident has heightened tensions in the area, with many questioning the effectiveness of the security measures in place.
The community is demanding action to address the insecurity and protect their lives.
The attack is the latest in a series of violent incidents in the Binduri District, which has been plagued by conflicts between the Kusaasi and Mamprusi communities.
The government has been urged to take immediate action to restore peace and security in the area.
