PV Jantuah Dadson, a former presidential staffer, has issued a stern warning to a National Democratic Congress (NDC) member intending to sell cars at the Sofoline Interchange enclave in Kumasi.
Speaking in an interview with OTEC FM, Jantuah refused to name the individual but urged the individual to distance himself from the area, emphasizing that selling cars is not the only livelihood available in Kumasi

Jantuah reminded him that the Sofoline Interchange enclave had previously been a hotspot for informal car sales, but authorities acted decisively to clear the area.
“People were selling cars there, but they were cleared out, and the place was secured with a chain,” he said, emphasizing that such measures were necessary to maintain the city’s dignity and functionality.
He cautioned the NDC member against causing disruption, stating, there’s an NDC man in Kumasi who wants to sell cars there. I beg him, he should go away with his nonsense. We don’t want any nonsense in this town anymore; here is not a village,” Jantuah declared.
He warned that with the kind of decongestion drive initiated by the KMA boss, Ofori Agyeman Boadi, Jantuah urged NDC party members not to create problems for the KMA boss and the Kwadaso MCE, who share boundaries with the Sofoline Interchange.
“We don’t want any situation where because our party is in power, we will be sabotaging authorities,” he stressed.
He added “We don’t want any nonsense; we don’t want anyone interfering in the affairs of the decongestion work the Kumasi Mayor is about to start”.
Jantuah, who played a vital role in clearing car dealers and illegal occupants from the Sofoline Interchange enclave, remains firm in his position, stressing that if it was bad under the NPP, it is also bad under the NDC.
PV. Jantuah added that those renting excavators at the Interchange Enclave heading towards Patasi should also leave. He emphasized that all spaces within the Sofoline Interchange area are not tradable and, in case of an accident, these spaces will serve as buffer zones for emergencies.
Mr. Jantuah offered a constructive alternative, encouraging the individual and others to engage in farming and other productive activities.
“Today, we’ve implemented Feed Ghana. You can go into planting rice, maize and onions , they will grow”.
The Man Behind the Controversy
However, Investigations conducted by Kumasimail reveal that the target of Jantuah’s warning is none other than Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, the NDC’s 2024 parliamentary candidate.
The Regional Director for Urban Roads in the Ashanti Region has warned him to stop what he is doing there.
Sources close to the Urban Director office have confirmed that “the Regional Director for Urban Roads has warned the PC that selling cars at the Sofoline Interchange enclave is a “no-go” area for him. The director made it clear that such activities are not permitted there and urged him to stop immediately”.
