In an official statement, the hospital expressed condolences to the nation and the extended family of the iconic singer, describing the loss as deeply mourned by the entire country.

The statement read, “His care was handled with professionalism, dignity, and strict confidentiality.”
Furthermore, the hospital confirmed that Daddy Lumba’s family was actively involved and informed throughout the entire care process.
“His family was involved every step of the way.”
“As one of Africa’s leading private healthcare institutions, The Bank Hospital remains committed to the highest ethical standards,” the hospital asserted. “A formal review of all events before, during, and after his care is underway to ensure continual improvement.”
The hospital concluded by urging the public and media to rely solely on verified information from credible sources to prevent the spread of misinformation during this sensitive period.
