Renowned business magnate and CEO of Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, has lauded the President John Dramani Mahama for his visionary leadership in promoting dialogue between policymakers and the business community.
This follows the successful organization of the second edition of the Kwahu Business Forum, held as part of the Easter festivities in the Eastern Region.
Speaking to journalists after the opening session of the forum, Dr. Oteng applauded the President for his commitment to building a resilient economy through stakeholder engagement.
He emphasized that the forum offers a crucial platform for businesses, financial institutions, and policymakers to collaborate and exchange ideas for national development.
“I want to commend H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for this bold and progressive initiative. It provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to interact with decision-makers and explore practical strategies for economic growth,” Dr. Oteng remarked.
He also extended his appreciation to the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah for the invitation, noting that the inclusion of key business figures shows government’s.

openness to private sector contributions in shaping the country’s economic agenda.
Dr. Oteng expressed particular satisfaction with the presence of both the Majority and Minority Leaders in Parliament, which he said validated President Mahama’s position that the forum is non-partisan and all inclusive.
“This event has been conducted so far without any display of political party colors or slogans. It is refreshing and reassuring to see leaders from all sides united for the sake of Ghana’s economic progress,” he said.
He called for such business forums to be institutionalized and held regularly across the country to expose local entrepreneurs to innovative business practices and financial opportunities. According to him, such national platforms are key to broadening the business community and highlighting new approaches to doing business.
The Kwahu Business Forum has quickly emerged as a significant platform for promoting economic dialogue, encouraging inclusive participation from both the public and private sectors, and aligning with the President Mahama’s vision of a collaborative approach to national development.
