Ghana’s Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Education and Cambridge Education at the ongoing Education World Forum.
According to the minister, the agreement is aimed at supporting Ghana’s ongoing education reform agenda through strategic collaboration in key areas of the education sector.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Mr. Iddrisu said the partnership would provide “a clear and practical framework” to strengthen Ghana’s education system through system analysis, curriculum and assessment reforms, teacher professional development, and the integration of emerging crosscutting priorities such as climate education and artificial intelligence (AI).

The minister noted that the collaboration reflects government’s commitment to improving educational outcomes and preparing students for the demands of a rapidly evolving global environment.
The agreement is also expected to support efforts to modernise teaching and learning methods while equipping educators with the skills needed to adapt to technological and environmental changes affecting education worldwide.

The Education World Forum, which brings together education ministers, policymakers and global education stakeholders, serves as a platform for discussing policies and partnerships aimed at transforming education systems across the world.
The Ministry of Education believes the partnership with Cambridge Education will contribute significantly to Ghana’s broader vision of building a resilient, innovative and future-ready education sector.
