Spanish Ambassador to Ghana, Ángel Lossada, has emphasized the importance of global cooperation in addressing pressing issues like maritime security and climate change.
The Spanish Navy has deployed a patrol warship, ESPS Meteoro, to the Gulf of Guinea to enhance maritime security along the West Africa region. This move underscores Spain’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s defense and security efforts.

The ambassador’s remarks were made during a stopover of the Spanish warship at Sekondi, where he engaged with local leaders and naval officials to discuss areas of cooperation.
